Marsha McAdam

LTC Patient (Confirmed)

Marsha has a diagnoses of borderline personality disorder, recurrent depression, fibromyalgia, asthma, chronic fatigue, type 2 diabetes, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease as well as countless other physical conditions.  These are a constant daily battle for her, and she admits that a life with such complications and concoction of pills could have easily led her to lead the life of a recluse. However, things changed after she received life-changing mentalization based therapy (MBT). With support and the recognition of those working with her, Marsha embarked on a venture to bring about positive change to both physical and mental healthcare. She is a strong advocate of parity of esteem.
